Places to visit around Tawang.1) Anni Gompa: This is a buddhist monastery managed by nuns. Anni means nun. It was not accessible by road as of 2006 and I am sure it is still not. You need to request your guide or cab driver to take you to the monastery.2) NooraNag falls: One of the largest falls near Tawang.3) War Memorial4) Madhuri Lake: Named after famous actress
You should go for a small trek around the town.The War Memorial and Tibetan Dispensary at Tawang are most certainly worth a visit
